Truly awful experience with this company. Was very happy with my accountant at KB Accountancy but when I was transferred last year to JSA/Workwell, the service levels dropped off a cliff. My accountant - who would never reply to any e-mails - missed filing my third quarter VAT return and with 12 days to go until my annual accounts are due for filing and corporation tax to be paid, I have only just received my draft accounts for review with an accompanying e-mail littered with mistakes. I would highly recommend any contractor looking for accounting services to look elsewhere.

I've been using Workwell (formerly JSA) for two plus years and related with different staff in that time for various reasons. I have been very impressed each time with how the staff swiftly address any queries, their politeness, and patience in taking time to explain what could sometimes be complicated eg. IR35 tax matters. I have referred them to friends and will keep doing same, because they make life just that little more easier. Thanks all for being so incredible. please keep it up!

I have been using Workwell solutions for a few years now and I wholeheartedly recommend this company for all contractors. They are very helpful and accessible with all queries and have an impressive turnaround time. Special mention to Ezra who was excellent in explanation and resolution for my queries, doing this in a very friendly manner and making me feel welcome and valued by the company.

I had a great user experience with Workwell just this evening. The very busy day they have had notwithstanding ( I was no 33 on the queue when I called) I still got a friendly, very professional help from the staff who attended to me. I was so impressed by the way she resolved my issues. Thank you so much Connie B for giving the extra!

Really prefer not to give negative reviews but have to warn people off JSA. They took over an excellent firm, Accountsnet, who always provided excellent service for contractors. In November 2021 they invoiced me for my SA 2020-21 return which was paid promptly with relevant return figures given beforehand. In very early Feb 2022 after the SA deadline they send me a draft SA return for 2020-21, with no tax deductible expenses or pension contributions.
After the regular tax return deadline of 31st Jan. On 6th Feb they agree to amend figures to that given in November 2021. It is now 26th February with no sight of any final return - with the prospect of HMRC penalties from 1st March. That isn't all my so called personal Accountant has changed at least twice since they took over Accountsnet. Very bureaucratic the Personal Accountant seems to have to send returns over to another team to get things submitted to HMRC.

I was a returning customer to JSA however this time the experience was very different. Have been assigned two different accountants who really did not bother responding to any of my questions. Really poor service and communication, I would not recommend JSA to anyone. To sign you up as a customer they would chase you but once you are a customer you do not really count for them.

Just got off the phone with Daniel and he was extremely pleasant, very thorough and clear when explaining my query and the related processes. After the phone call, he has followed through with an email to ensure I am able to digest the information in my own time. Excellent customer service always goes a long way.

I had a time sensitive issue which required a phone call to see what could be done. Connie was not only extremely friendly and easy to talk to, but also professional and worked quickly to get my issue resolved while I was on the phone. I had never needed to call JSA before, but if every call goes this well, I will be staying with them for a long time. Connie is a great agent and helped to give me reassurance that, if I have a problem in the future, I won't have to worry about it getting fixed.
