Being very inexperienced in financial matters I was apprehensive about dealing with the transfer of my works pension to a private pension. I needn't have worried. I'd done quite a bit of research using the FSA & GOV.UK advice tools when looking for a financial advisor to work with, I decided to make an initial inquiry with Jamieson Christie and was then contacted by Dominic who arranged a telephone call with me to explain in more detail how the process would work. After our first meeting there was lots of information to take away and digest before arranging a formal review which would go into a lot more detail about my financial situation and hopes and aspirations for the future (as you would expect in financial planning) Dominic took time at each stage to check my understanding and ensure that the advice he gave me was based on my personal circumstances & was relevant to my needs & aspirations.
