If you are already insured as a Health, Wellbeing, Fitness or Beauty Professional through Balens on one of our Malpractice schemes for your professional liability with Zurich Insurance plc, you are already automatically covered for temporary trips working abroad (Excluding the USA and Canada - although this can be considered on referral). Please contact us if you wish to check your situation.
As an individual practitioner or business owner, you could be held legally liable for loss or damage to other people's property, injury, harm or financial loss alleged to have been caused to your clients, patients or other parties. As such you may require a Professional Liability insurance policy. Balens have devised a specialist insurance package that includes Professional Liability and Malpractice with a Legal Protection policy. Our bespoke policy wordings are, in our opinion, one of the widest available on the market.

I was recommended Balens by a number of therapists who use them happily. I have to say its early days yet. All of their correspondence is professional I just wish the response was quicker. Waiting 3 to 5 days for a response each time is long. The number doesn't always work. I appreciate people keep saying Ok well it's because of covid but come on, none of us are furloughed now.
We are either at home or in the office working. So please companies stop using this excuse, put your phone lines back up and answer your emails quicker. Apart from that sticking with them because they are reputable and recommended by others.
